Dam the world

My zombie plan is a three part plan including a "bug out" option.

Step one:

Once the zombie apocalypse starts me along with a few friends and family will confine our selves to my house. The house already has bars on all of the lower floor windows and a swinging metal gate that covers the sliding glass door at the rear of the house and a metal front door. The only points that would have to be barricaded are would be the bay window at the front of the house which is only partially covered by bars and the basement door.

The Realistic Back-Up Plan

Claidheamh Righ's picture

Unfortunately a lot of plans such as flying to a Scottish castle, building a fortress or moving to the top of a tepui (http://www.terebess.hu/kert/roraima.jpg), may be a touch impractical. I've had to create a back up plan where we have very little time to prepare. Now, I live in a town of 15,000 people, an hour east is a million people. The hypothetical scenario is as such: The city has been infected, it will starts spreading towards the town and it looks like it wont stop spreading anytime soon.

The Bezz Survival Plan

Death From Above's picture

My plan takes at least one or two years of preparation, mainly preparing handmade shotgun shells, if 40 shells were made every day for a year (give or take a few), that would translate to about 14,600 shells, and of course if I had friends chip in, more, which I would then store in a rented container.

This plan is very specific for my survival with my city and neighbours and friends however with customization anyone else living in a city may benefit. You may use this plan as you see fit.

Zombie Plan I

Survivalism's picture

Begin training yourself NOW so that you can walk or swim long distances. Then, when the zombie apocalyplse comes, you can grab a gun and/or some gardening tools and canned goods and flee to some underpopulated place like Canada or Norway. Then hide in a cave or shed up in the mountains, where there are even less people.
SUPPLIES:
Canned goods (3 months) (Enough for 10 people)
Something to carry the canned goods in
Clothing
A gun of your choice
Gardening tools for close combat
A collapsable fishing rod
Firestarting tools
