In-General Guide To Preperation

Most people on this website have at least some form of plan for the glorious day that the dead walk the Earth. Well, how much of a plan do you really have? I've read a few of these submitted plans and they say things like, "after a few days look for your friends and hope some of them survived", or "grab things around your house to use as weapons, about anything will do". No. That is not a formulated plan of action.

The Realistic Back-Up Plan

Unfortunately a lot of plans such as flying to a Scottish castle, building a fortress or moving to the top of a tepui (http://www.terebess.hu/kert/roraima.jpg), may be a touch impractical. I've had to create a back up plan where we have very little time to prepare. Now, I live in a town of 15,000 people, an hour east is a million people. The hypothetical scenario is as such: The city has been infected, it will starts spreading towards the town and it looks like it wont stop spreading anytime soon.

This is a three part plan starting now. I am currently taking steps to make my home self sufficient. This gives me the skill sets I will need, establish a functional base for the initial rush, and help me save resources for when I really need them. I work out, practice archery, and practice staff techniques with any yard tool I am working with. My crew of friends have similar setups and are also working on farming, metal working, and herbology specializations.
