I don't think their senses would become heightened, I just think they would rely on sounds more, everyone knows they have poor coordination and vision, right?

Also, they wouldbt hunt in packs, the concentration of zombies would be directly linked to the human population before the outbreak.
But the sound of an attack would probably draw more zeds.

I'm pretty sure that if there were zombies, they would all be less powerful than most humans. Even the most powerful zombies, like posthumous body-builders, won't be as tough as a healthy person.

As for hunting in packs... I'm sure they still have access to some of their old memories, and maybe they will want to hang out with zombies they knew back when they weren't dead?

Well the virus could make them use the muscles that we as living being don't know how to use/haven't learned to use. Just a theory.

okay speeking from a medical background, the eyes of a dead person are the 1st things to decay and rott, the tissue that forms mussle sould not heal as liveing peoples do on a dayly basis, cells would not have the ability to do meotiosus [splitting into 2] and there for the body would only last aprox 90 days,
zombies would have to rely on sound information that would be prossessed throught the impolses in the brain, witch may or may not last the 90 days given that nerve impulcess re eletrical baced,

In reality a person coming back to life as a "true" zombie is nearly impossible. But you can have a virus that induces insanity, extreme agression, a lack of care for personal well being, a primal instict to hunt and kill, a blood thirstyness, and any other symptoms. With the being still alive, they'd be in a fair ammount of pain at first I'm guessing. But not dead unless you stop the heart of the brain. You know left for dead style.

so a virus, that seems more conseveable and realistic,
if a person is given a verry large addreninen shot they can "see red" and go bizzurck its not uncomon amoung people in the forces

well actuly in a war zone it has been knowen to happen naturaly bust because the stress, action and all the adrenalin ect.
it all depens on your tollerence to it, like me i wont be affected by a large dosege because im a adrennalen junkey.
in this case if a virus could trigger a responce like this there would be mass casualties and its unknowen how long the effects would last
